Domain Proxy Service

Domain proxy service, also known as trustee service, is a service offers by providers that permit customers to register certain country-code domain name (ccTLD) that require a local presence within the respective country or region.
Many ccTLD registries (e.g .sg, .cn, .hk, etc.) require that the registrant/domain contact be a citizen, resident or organization located in that country.
If you do not meet these local eligibility requirement, the proxy service allows you to register the domain through a local representative provided by the registrar.

The proxy provider registers the domain name on your behalf using its local contact information to fulfill the registry’s requirements, while you retain full rights and control over the domain’s use, DNS, and renewal.
This service is available for selected ccTLDs, additional documentation may be required and may incur additional fees.
