cPanel: Creating a new domain

Some hosting plan supports multiple websites in single hosting account.
Please refer to the steps below to create a new domain in your cPanel account.

Creating Addon Domain
1. Login to your cPanel control panel (EG. http://yourdomain.com/cpanel).
2. Click on Domains icon under Domains section.
3. Click Create A New Domain button.
4. Select "Registered Domain".
5. Enter the domain name in the field.
6. Uncheck "Share document root" option.
7. Click Submit to save the changes.
* The domain's name server must be pointed to the hosting account before adding it as addon domain.

Creating Domain Alias
1. Login to your cPanel control panel (EG. http://yourdomain.com/cpanel).
2. Click on Domains icon under Domains section.
3. Click Create A New Domain button.
4. Select "Registered Domain".
5. Enter the domain name in the field.
6. Leave "Share document root" option checked.
7. Click Submit to save the changes.
* The domain's name server must be pointed to the hosting account before adding it as domain alias.

Creating Subdomain
1. Login to your cPanel control panel (EG. http://yourdomain.com/cpanel).
2. Click on Domains icon under Domains section.
3. Click Create A New Domain button.
4. Select "Registered Domain".
5. Enter the domain name in the field (EG. sales.yourdomain.com).
6. Click Submit to save the changes.
