cPanel: Creating a temporary domain

Temporary domain allows users to create and view a website before going live on subdomain or addon domain (not applicable to Primary/Main Domain).
Please follow the steps below to create a temporary domain.

1. Login to your cPanel control panel (EG. http://yourdomain.com/cpanel).
2. Click on Domains icon under Domains section.
3. Click Create A New Domain button.
4. Select "Temporary Domain".
5. Click Submit to create the temporary domain.
* You will need to upload or place the web files under /public_html/temp_domain_directory in order for the website to appear.

Replacing a Temporary Domain with Registered Domain
1. Login to your cPanel control panel (EG. http://yourdomain.com/cpanel).
2. Click on Domains icon under Domains section.
3. Click Manage button of the temporary domain.
4. Click the link Replace with a registered domain.
5. Enter the domain name in the field.
6. Click Update to start replacing the temporary domain.
