FTP is a transfer protocol for you to upload your website files to the hosting server.
Please follow the steps below to create your FTP account.
1. Log in to your hosting control panel (EG. http://cp.yourdomain.com)
2. Click on FTP Accounts icon.
3. Click on Create FTP Account button.
4. Fill in the following:
User name: [YOUR NEW FTP USER NAME]
Password: [PLEASE USE A STRONG PASSWORD]
Home folder: [THE ROOT FOLDER WHERE THE NEW FTP ACCOUNT WILL DIRECTLY ACCESS]
Access Rights: Read YES , Write YES
5. Click on Save button.
* Replace yourdomain.com with your actual domain name.
* The password should be at least ten characters, containing at least three numbers and minimum two UPPERCASE characters.
Note: Hosting space is to store your web files only, it is not for file sharing purpose.
